Put chicken wings in marinade and set aside for at least 2 hours.
Remove chicken wings from marinade. Heat wok to medium heat, then add vegetable oil. Add spring onion and garlic. Sauté till fragrant, remove and set aside.
Add chicken wings, browning them for about 2 minutes on each side.
Add water, any leftover marinade and spring onion and garlic, bring to a boil. Cook till sauce coats chicken wings.
Remove wok from heat and serve chicken wings hot.
Tips
This dish can either be a snack or part of a meal with other dishes.
It can be cooked in a 180°C pre-heated oven. Simply place everything in a roasting tray and cook for 30 minutes.
